this took over half an hour. {began at 14:27:19 it is now 15:05:57 The word 'frustrated' took between 5 and 12 seconds per letter to appear.}

wrote this out in the message board and it can't connect to the data base. grrrrrr.

Somebody called asking for carl and somebody while I was waiting for Cathi to call from work to say she got there okay.

thought I'd check out the Ottawa Mac users group to see if they can tell me anything about why I couldn't get the g3 at the museum on line the other day. Gotta see if I can get it on line today. grumble grumble

had trouble connecting to dragons gate yesterday, thought the payment had bounced or maybe I'd rolled a character (without knowing it consciously) whose name was on a banned list?

shrug, so Tchori asked me if I tried rebooting. no, so i did. & Yay! it worked.

Diane is trying to co-ordinate Mom's visit.
Mom gets here on  31 May and goes back some time in August.

Baseball season has started.

I think we got more than 10 cm of snow yestaerday (started out kind of blah... but it built up)

DGate. Went to the Pride meeting. (boy are they generous.) & Tiruna gave Drae a guitar~ !  There seems to be a lot of nonsense going on. lotsa ice holes in the game? But Leuians are cool. always were. 

I wrote a bunch before in the regular forum, but it distappeared. can't connect with database again.

grrrrrrr.

I asked if his car would make it
(as it wobbled a bit)
and he said, "Oh! [sombody feminine] lives up here."

Next dream I was a kid
and whether I had killed
a rival gang member or not
I was wanted by the police,
hiding out with friends
sleeping in plain view
of the truck with the mutulated body
of the dead guy
making a mess
(bloody sheets covering it etc.)
Just before I woke up
I was turning myself in
to a cop I thought I could trust.

Cathi's day off
the alarm didn't wake her
(I did)
We got the boy moving (more or less)
and then Cathi came down stairs
and

"I wonder why mom is home today"

"She has today off"

"School sux, I wish I had the day off from school."
(and he kind of fell into reverse gear)

but we got him there.
with a second or so to spare
and didn't have to ground him
and take away his game boys and game cubes

and yesterday he was in sheer delight
when he found out he got his new Pokemon
game
from new york city
but he was screaming
at his
STUPID memory card because he
deleted so many games and
still didn't have enough room

But somehow or other
the world didn't end
and he fell asleep

and like I said
we got him to school just before the late bell.

sigh

Oh Goodness

Yes, I was sick in the night.
blehhhhhh,

Now I ache all over and
my stomach is very tender...

But

we got the boy to school
[even if the end of the street was blocked off and we had to go around...]
& we got there on time!

Fell asleep after Cathi left
woke up after 8:30
ran upstairs and started to wake the boy
when the phone rang
and it was Cathi
saying she got to work okay

um,

the boy was a little concerned and confused
[his PDD likes everything to be predictable,
no last minute changes or deviations in
schedule....]

and he was a little short of patience
as he explained where
he thought his pants of choice
and shirts of choice
were probably waiting for him

but we got there on time
and we may have
convinced him
that rain is a good thing
because it means
nice weather is almost here.

Somebody's Birthday

Boy has been tough to deal with
since he got back from a week at his dad's
